How it Works
The Tidal Enterprise Adapter for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne/ World runs on any
Windows machine in the data center that has a Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
agent. Once implemented, the Tidal Enterprise Adapter allows users to
define, launch, monitor and control JD Edwards processes using Universal
Batch Engine (UBE) programs. The internal UBE programs are used to execute
JD Edwards defined processes. Tidal Software allows JD Edwards users to
resolve failures more easily, incorporate multiple cross-application
dependencies and utilize process models for JD Edwards UBE programs. The
Tidal Enterprise Adapter technology is able to submit the JD Edwards
processes as well as monitor the statuses of each process executed.
Furthermore, it can facilitate the distribution of JD Edwards reports
through its inherent FTP/email capabilities. Also, Tidal Software utilizes
both UBE programs and the API’s in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne/World. JD
Edwards function calls are used for the integration, so no modifications to
the JD Edwards environment are necessary.
