How it Works
The Enterprise Adapter for PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne/ World runs on any
Windows machine in the data center that has a Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
agent. Once implemented, the Enterprise Adapter allows users to define,
launch, monitor and control PeopleSoft processes using Universal Batch
Engine (UBE) programs. The internal UBE programs are used to execute
PeopleSoft defined processes. Tidal Software allows PeopleSoft users to
resolve failures more easily, incorporate multiple cross-application
dependencies and utilize process models for PeopleSoft UBE programs. The
Enterprise Adapter technology is able to submit the PeopleSoft processes as
well as monitor the statuses of each process executed. Furthermore, it can
facilitate the distribution of PeopleSoft reports through its inherent
FTP/email capabilities. Also, Tidal Software utilizes both UBE programs and
the API’s in PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne/World. PeopleSoft function calls are
used for the integration, so no modifications to the PeopleSoft environment
are necessary.
